Copper Cable Recycling:  Recros has experienced project managers and crew that specialize in recovery and recycling of copper cables.  The following illustrates typical steps involved in Recros projects:
1.  Project Planning: Different types and size of cables are typically involved for each exchange site.  One of the first steps in our project is to work with TSPs to list details of existing cables deployed in the TSP’s legacy network and to estimate of the project value based on the detailed calculation of the copper content for each exchange site.

2.  Project Pricing:   Based on the inventory of the buried cable, Recros provides a complete quote for a turn- key project.  This offers guaranteed price for each site (based on the estimated copper content) to TSP. The guaranteed price is for the purchase of the copper infrastructure of the exchange in the ground and is guaranteed to the London Metal Exchange (LME) price attached to Copper.

3.  Project Execution:  When an exchange site is made available for copper recovery, Recros’ professional teams will arrive at the site(s) and will do the copper cable extraction work. Each extracted cable will be cut to 1.5m length pieces, cleaned from dirt, and loaded on a container. Each container will be loaded and weighed and documented for each exchange prior to shipment for recyling purpose.

4.  Project Management & Supervision :  Complete documentation of the project including packing lists at the level of each container, weekly summary reports for accounting purposes with the TSP, weekly gaps analysis (if any), random tests at sites to minimize  risks, shrinkage, etc. The entire process is conducted in fully transparent and secure manner to maximize recovery and reduce losses.
5.  Financial Security for TSP Customers: Recros provides TSP with performance bond for the each planned scheduled copper extraction period based on expected value of copper content. At the end of each period, there is a payment for the actual quantity of copper that was recovered from the ground for each exchange site. At the end of each site's work, there is a Gap Analysis process and, if required, reconciliation for actual vs. planned quantities is done. There is no exposure for the TSP to the end buyer financial stability or capability to buy the extracted copper and practically the whole process is with zero credit terms extended to Recros from TSP.
6.  Shipping: The whole shipping process (both domestically to the port as well as the sea freight) is done by Recros as part of its turnkey project project offering.

7.  Audits:  Instead of working through separate labor contractors and scrap brokers and chain of traders and recyclers, Recros takes the cable scrap directly to large recyling facilities around the world that specialize in recovery.  This way Recros is able to offer maximum recovery and profit to TSPs.
